3rd Place in the Santander X Portugal Awards Edition

FreshIST is Making an Impact Again!The team, made up of Lívia Valle, Laura Esteves, and Ricardo Ferreira from ZEOLCAT/CQE, achieved 3rd place in the Santander X Portugal Awards and has also qualified for the Santander X Global Awards 2025. They were awarded a €2,000 prize and will receive consulting training from Oxentia.FreshIST is an innovative device designed to reduce waste from climacteric fruits caused by ethylene, a plant hormone that accelerates ripening, during transport and storage. This device was developed as part of the Nano4Fresh project.
